Akshay Nanduri co-founded RefleXion Medical in 2009 and serves as the company’s vice president of strategy and business development, where he is focused on driving strategic growth initiatives through partnerships and licensing.
Previously at RefleXion, Nanduri was responsible for finance, day-to-day operations, and he played an integral role in raising over $160M in equity financing from premier healthcare investors.
Prior to RefleXion, Nanduri was the first employee and director of software development at SlipStream Data, a venture-backed startup acquired by Research In Motion (BlackBerry) in 2006.
Nanduri received both a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering and a Master of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Canada.
He also received his MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management.
